After reaching our quota at the El Chico NAMI Fundraiser on March 23, $194.60 was raised. Thank you to everyone for your support, and much thanks to the management at the El Chico location at 71st and Mingo for allowing us to hold the fundraiser!

Rea Booth, LCSW will share information compiled by the Tulsa City/County Task Force. Rea will talk about treatment for hoarding, counseling and the DMS-5.   Rea is an active member of this task force. Bring your questions.

El Chico March 23 NAMI Tulsa Fundraiser Update: A total of 106 signed in for the fundraiser. We needed 100, and we WILL receive 10% of that evenings sales. Thank you so much!

The NAMI Tulsa fundraiser at El Chico was a success, and we will exceed our goal tonight. A lot of hard work was put into this, and it all paid off. Thank you to everyone who participated in this fundraiser! NAMI Tulsa appreciates your support!

Tomorrow's The Day!

Tomorrow's the day! NAMI Tulsa is having a fundraiser at El Chico at the northeast corner of 71st and Mingo tomorrow night from 5 to closing time. Remember, we need at least 100 in our group to receive the donation. Just tell your hostess that you are there for the fundraiser or sign in when you arrive. This is a perfect time to support NAMI Tulsa, Green Country's Voice on Mental Illness. If we DO get at least 100 in our group to attend the fundraiser, NAMI Tulsa will receive 10% of the evening's sales.

This is  reminder of the El Chico Fundraiser to be held on Monday March 23 at the El Chico location on the northeast corner of 71st and Mingo. It will be held from 5 pm to close. NAMI Tulsa March Education Meeting

 “A Faith Based Approach to Alzheimer’s And  Hope for the Caregiver” Do you or someone you know have Alzheimer’s, or Dementia? Are you a caregiver or know a caregiver who is struggling with a love one? The March program will feature Jackie Lenzy, who is a Certified Dementia Practitioner and has served as the education coordinator for the Alzheimer’s Association. She develops simulations and trains Professionals and Family caregivers on what it’s like to have dementia and the stress it causes on the caregiver. She does work with families, professionals and works with Cancer Treatment Centers of America in one of their programs. Her program incorporates the mind, body and spirit tools to assist families traveling through life’s journey. Come to see what she has to offer!!
